Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the detail that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
